Did any one ever had the feeling like your brain is asleep?

Like a foggy feeling in your head that makes it really difficult for you to concentrate or focus. It makes your mind drift away and you find your self starring in to an empty space and thinking about nothing.

Plz do help me if anyone know the right treatment... I must be very thankful to u....

God bless you

I do this a lot during times of high stress. I don't know any treatment, mostly I just deal with it the best I can. I've lost time, conversations, and sometimes feel like I don't remember walking into a room.

that's pretty serious. I don't know your age or your life, but if youa re losing time, it could be TIA's or discoiation. If I would you, I would rule out the physical.  My dad would space out and he was have TIA, little strokes. I have it from my childhood.

    Hi Hamid,

It is mild dissociation, everyone does it from time to time, like when you are driving the same path every day, one day you realize you don't rememebr the drive at all.  Sometimes stress can cause it or in worst case, past childhood trauma. It all dempends on the severity.  I have celiac disease and everyone who has CD complains of foggy brain being one of the worst symptoms.  Have you been tested for CD? It is a very common disease, 1/120.

      Hi see,

Thanks for your concern, highly appreciated. No I never had CD test and I don't know about CD test.....

And yes I got a lot of stress and big tense and then I started having foggy brain always and lost my memory from last Feb and until now.

I met neurologist and he prescript me Efexor xr 75mg, so I'm having it from last Feb which helps me to feel ok just for time being only but this is not a proper treatment and I gained a lot of weight and blurred eyes but I don't have some other choice....

Will you recommend me any proper treatment for this? Or any good medicine with no any side effects?

There is a lot of information on the internet about Celiac disease.

Doctors do not test much for it because there is no pill being pushed by drug reps yet.  The only medicine is to stay away from gluten (wheat, rye and barley). I go one step further and eat a strict palio diet. If the docs had tested me sooner, I would not have gottne as sick as I am.

When you get tested, for  couple months, be sure to be eating things that have gluten; bread, noodles, most processed (unless labled as GF) food is gluten.

It's bed time, let me know if you need more information. I love to get the word out about a disease that has reached epedemic proportions here in the US. Our crops sprayed with Monsanto's Round Up is killing us all slowly and no one can fight them.
