Hello Does anyone else have foleculitis? What do you use to calm it down ? I don't have fungal or infected foleculitis, just common all garden ( which is a blessing) but its driving me nuts. I've had alopecia ariarta for the best part of 7/8 yrs . I can't wear a wig for longer than 20mins before its unbearable. Can anyone offer some ideas ? Thanku, Amanda x

Have you tried wearing a wave cap to see if that helps? It could be even worse then the wig. Or you can just invest in a couple of types of hats and wear those when you go out in public. Or say to hell with anyone who doesn't like it and go all natural.

I don't really feel that I can respond to the condition you have because until you posted this question I had never heard of it. I Googled it since I had never heard of it and it didn't sound like it's something you would get on your head but rather like your legs or your armpits. So if it's on your head that has got to be one miserable condition to have on you're head especially if you're used to wearing a wig everyday. I never could get used to wearing a wig it was just too hot . So I invested in a couple of different hats and that's how I got through. Well I keep rambling on but before I close I just want to say thank you for giving me a skin condition that I hadn't heard of and now I know a tiny bit about it. You learn something new everyday.
