Hey guys was just curious to know what you guys are eating after banding? I'm 4 days after banding and I've been sticking to slim fast shakes.. Anything else you guys can recommend ?

Yogurts soups shakes then moved on to weetabix with warm milk, scrambled eggs instant msahed potato I lived on that lol I would put a sprinkle of soft cheese n chives, gravy, parsley sauce any other sauce to give a different taste, I had to have the band taken out in the end so now go for bypass in 2 weeks x

I would suggest you buy the 'Weight Loss Surgery Cookbook for Dummies' I've been reading it tonight and it is full of information through the stages and obviously recipes. I paid about £9 for it with free postage from Abe Books, you can find them online. The only downside is it is written for the American market but you can work around that. I hope this helps.

Weetabix on the go is much thicker than the slimfast and more satisfying too. 😊😊😊

I had the band fitted on the 13th Jan 2015 and have lost 3 stone so far. I feel so much better than I have in years 😊😊😊

I'm 3 days after banding...had it done Tues. I'm eating very watered down/milky weetabix/ pureed soup/ pureed quorn cottage pie and veg with gravy. My info just says pureed/ yogurt consistancy. Drinking loads but keeping to tiny portions of food. Worried about first time I go to the loo...hasn't happened yet!
