hi deb...nice to be online at the same time...i have hip and back stiffness to the point i have to take baby steps...i use a walker when outside the home.  for MS they gave me a test called "Evoke Potentials" they put electrodes on your legs, hands and head....it records the time from brain to muscle reaction. thats the simple way to describe it. thanks for sharing.

i don't know what to call it, but I have days where I can't lift my feet and I just shuffle along. My kids think iits hilarious for some reason and take the proverbial but I justlaugh with them to be honest unless I am feeling in a very low mood, then I just burst into tears. I have noticed that I can cry for no apparent reason too. The other night I was watching the vicar of dibley and one part made me laugh so hysterically but suddenly turned to crying! What on earth is that all about? I felt really embarrassed actually!

Hi Terig, I was also tested for |S with lumbar puncture, MRIs and also evoked potentials. I get a 'thickness' feeling rather than total numbness in my feet and left leg, so when its bad I limp a bit. Also heightened sensitivity sometimes on the outside of my legs...its all very weird, but I'm tols its all part of CFS/Fibro that I have. I used to get lots of muscle twitching, especially my feet anf lower legs, but its got a lot better since taking magnesium supplements.

Shaz, I also get very emotional very easily..especially the tears, but it usually happens when I'm watching something on TV that is the tiniest bit emotional!! My children think I'm a huge softy smile cheesygrinJK
