Foot great! Pain everywhere else

Hi all

Eight weeks into bunion and instep fusion. I'm still in pot with one crutch. I've still 4 more weeks in the cast.

My foot is great, no pain. It's the rest of my body! When I wake up in a morning I'm not sure which set of joints hurts the most.

My back, when it goes into spasm and on a morning , I can sort with yoga stretches. What do I do with my hands, too much knitting and cross stitch. My knees, shoulders and the right foot. This one waiting it's turn for the same operation. The middle of the night trip to the bathroom is agony. In the morning it takes forever to get moving.

I've tried easy days, reading, gazing into space and watching TV. I've tried active days, out for lunch, circuits round the house in the garden and baking and all combinations in between. I'm 61.

Any ideas how I can reduce this torment in a morning? Does anyone else go through this?

Fingers crossed you have some cures.

P.S. did I mention wrists and elbows?
