Hi, yesterday whilst at work..im a cleaner, there was 2 heavy metal step things stacked on top of each other( the ones in shops used to reach a high shelf) I accidently tapped one of them and it fell on my foot mainly my toes and bit of the side of little toe...I reported it and filled in a accident form, today my foot is hurting even more on both sides and my toes, and at times goes up the inside of my leg, I cant walk on the front of my foot (so im hobbling around on my heel) my toes hurt to wriggle them, there is redness that keeps coming and going, slight bruising...I cant actually go to work as It hurts to even put a sock let alone a shoe on...im not sure if its broken, bruised bone, I no if it carrys on I will need to go hospital, but I dont want to waste there time...my boss just said oh itll be bruised tomorrow but nothing is broken...I dont no what to do ive had it elevated with ice on and off, as noone saw it due to it being earlish in the morning when no other staff where out the back, (only boss and 1 till staff where in at the time)I dont think he believed me...what should I do

Well of course your Boss is going to tell you that it's OBVIOUSLY NOT Broken!!!!! Obviously I believe if it hurts tomorrow & or the next day you should go get your foot or heel checked out though.

You should get an X Ray!! Bruising usually means a fracture and the longer you wait the more difficult healing will be. Heal walking still separates a fracture. Good luck
