foot pain and 'vibrating'

Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what could be up with my 13 year old daughters foot?

Last week she started complaining about pain in the top of her left foot. She didn't seem too bothered by it, just saying it hurt a bit, but she couldn't think of anything she had done to cause any pain.

She then kept saying her foot was 'vibrating' sometimes.

It wasn't until today when she said about this vibrating and her foot still being a bit sore that I had a proper look. Her foot is a little swollen, and the vibrating she speaks of can actually be felt when touching her foot! Its like touching a vibrating mobile phone!

If she rests the foot and doesn't move it, the vibrating stops, but when she moves the foot around the vibrating starts again? Any ideas anyone?

Sorry, not even sure if I posted this in the right place! Just saw about foot & toe problems

None whatsoever! But doesn't sound too serious.

See if it gets worse and then I'm sure a visit to the GP will ease your concerns

Thanks, didn't think it was anything too serious smile Just thought it was strange. Will keep an eye on it. She can walk around fine (it ocassaionly gets a bit to sore, and she has to take the weight of it for a bit)
