hi Sarah!  I had that exact pain also.  When my bandage was changed for the first time I looked to see why it hurt so bad there.  I had a sore that had scabbed over!  I asked dr and she said it was a pressure point, and that was normal.  I had to put ice pack there as well as on top of ankle to relieve pain!  I am 9 weeks post op now and that part has completely healed.  So it will get better, just ice and elevate, and be patient!

Thank you I might try putting Ice on it and it's elevated at the moment im trying to move it so it's not always on the same point

      Hopefully that will help .

    Sarah,

I had the same excruciating  pain in my heels after my op, and from reading the board, it seems that your feet are clamped into stirrups to hold them stable. Ouch!

takes a few weeks for it to subside, and very frustrating when you need to put your feet up, on the sore bits.

keep in there, and try and enjoy  the 'slow time'  of recovery, you'll soon be wondering where it all disappeared.

    Caroline xx
