Foot skin growth, not sure what it is

Hi,

I’ve had this small bump on the bottom of my foot for over a year, it started small but now seems to have grown over twice it’s size.

 I’ve looked up pictures of calluses and warts and can’t quite match it to either.

It does sting a bit to step on it and the surface is tough.

I tried treating it with dr schols freeze and liquid wart removal, but it didn’t do much, the liquid just left the skin surrounding the growth to shrink and thin while not doing anything to the bump, I only used the liquid for a week before stopping so maybe I just need to use it longer . I also tried shaving it with a file and was able to take away some of the top of it, but after a couple weeks it’s grown back.

I do have appointment with a podiatrist, but that isn’t until July and I was hoping to get more info before then
