I just had big toe fusion, 3 hammertoes, and bunion by little toe surgery 3 weeks ago. Today is first day I can put weight on it. Looking to see how recovery will be. Today my foot turned purple by end of day.

How long ago is " just". I'm still non weight bearing after five weeks. They've also told me to keep my foot up for as much as possible. For the first two weeks it was down just long enough to go to the bathroom.
The idea is to stop it turning purple which usually indicates swell.

I'm 5 weeks post op big toe fusion and 2/3rd toes weils osteotomy....... I'm im a surgical shoe along with a plaster cast. I'm getting about I'm walking flat footed but only for a few minutes. My foot swells and toes go a purple colour......
Forth foot operation and all quite normal.
