Footwear after ankle fusion

Hi Everyone,
I am weight bearing after fusion January 2017, hardware removed late April, my physio said to get rocker shoes as they help me walk. The cost in Australia is approx. $300 so I purchased a pair from Hong Kong on ebay, they are brilliant however, they are joggers, I would like to get something which is a little more feminine, sandals or mary janes. Does anyone have any experience with these types of shoes. Any help would be great.
Thanks and have a great weekend.

Hi, I had my 1st fusion done 9 years ago, and yes, they were expensive, especially back then. Have had 2nd fusion 2 1/2 months ago. I have bought shoes on 'banggood' they have some nice ones from $26 and up, also from 'wish' Have bought about 10 pairs from these sites, and only have 1 pair which did not quite fit. I try to get ones with flexible elastic uppers, or adjustabe. Also have found some nice thongs. god luck, and happy shopping.

I had Talo Navicular fission March 30, 2016. My orthopedic surgeon suggested I get as my first shoe a rocker. His specification was that the rocker would not bend in the middle. They definitely helped me lean to walk again. I also wear them still now when my foot aches. The brand is Ebeo. I bought my sneaker at the Walking Company then on line I bought Ebeo sandal.
I hope this helps you.
