Iv had LP for over 4 years ,it cleared up from my hands feet and stomach,but my vulvar area never cleared ..iv been given many creams to try and had several biopsy's,sex was a definite No .. Then I discovered medical grade Manuka honey ,after 3 days the redness and swelling went down ,I feel like iv found a miracle, it seems to be repairing the damage caused from this awful auto immune disease

    So glad you have found some relief. It sounds almost too good to be true!! How did you use it? Did you take it or use it topically? I have both oral and vulval that flare up from time to time and can be very painfully, so any help is most welcome.  And also where did you buy the medical grade from? I'm in UK.

      Hi I'm in the UK to ,I bought it off amazon called medi honey ,I applied it directly to the sores ,also I have oral lp and have tried Manuka honey from Holland and Barrett ,this helps when the ulcers appear ,but also improves the texture of my tounge ,one tea spoon a day is enough and its very expensive

      Very helpful Tracy thank you so much, the dental hospital still haven't called me back for the planned biopsy on my OLP, so I'm going to get going with the medi honey. Stay well.

      Hi Penelope for oral LP buy a jar of new Zealand Manuka honey of at least 15+ from Holland and Barrett ,they will explain this to you ...for LP of the vaginal area buy medical grade Manuka gel .....please let me no how you get on ...good luck....

      Thank you Tracey. Been in bed with flu for a week now, fasting just cos I can't face any food, loads of cold liquids so that might help too.  As soon as I can I'll get along there to stock up. Many thanks.

      So glad to hear about efficacy of Medical grade manukau Honey. I shall try this for my OLP. My tongue is also affected and so is my lips in my current episode. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi ladies

    How old are you I have LP too but never tried honey I will give it a go, have any of you ladies ever had a problem with abnormal cells after a smear test, there are different types of LP depending on the cause
