For those on DLA

I ventured over to the Fibromyalgia forum for a while and SES has posted a link to the Benefits Agency. :run:

Apparently if you qualify for DLA, amongst other things, you will get a £10 bonus and another bonus of £60 in the new year :ok:

    Thank you for telling us Dale. I have had my CB and will look forward to the NY bonus which can go towards my heating bill as I have had it on quite a lot recently. :roll:

    still waiting to hear about mine. not very confident as someone told me 75% of people fail on their first go, but you never know.... :roll:

    I did, but was awarded on the 2nd attempt due to the brilliant assistance from the CAB. Thanks guys. smile

    The CAB have many training sessions on the exact wording that seems to do the trick ..... so Trees, if you do fail on the first attempt (which hopefully you won't) it may be worth getting them involved.

    Though I have a feeling perhaps you did actually???? My poor old brain is not what it was : :?

    I'm expecting to see an ad for Dementia any minute now :roll:

    I've got ads, just not these ones you lot seem to have, perfume and chocolate. I get stuff for head lice and Chronic Fatigue 'cures' and mobility aids. :roll:

    I was awarde DLA first time :ok: I wrote what Katie/Alicia said about not being able to make a meal from scratch

    I also used to sit in whilst the social worker filled in forms when I worked at the Hospice. Must have took in some of that sub-consciously

    Alicia, the ads are mainly seen when typing an experience.

    Wonder if I mention something like HAEMORRHOIDS and FLATULENCE something will pop up .......... (or out :lol: ) :shock:
