Foreskin and Glans Irritation

Posted , 4 users are following.

I have been suffering now from over a year of on and off irritation and constant discoloration of my foreskin and glans.

When flacid, it looks mostly normal but when erect the foreskin and glans get extra red. Alot more than ever before when it was more of my normal skin color.

for about a year there was a constant burning and tingling sensation that would not go away. that has reduced and comes and goes now. Sex and masturbation does not help but it also does not always go away if i abstain from either. thoughts?

Does it become red when it becomes erect on its own with no touching stimulation?

When you have time, see if getting an erection with no underwear on and without stimulating your penis with your hand. Observe if it becomes red as pictured when it reaches full erection. That would be a good place to start in seeing when the redness occurs.

Also, when masturbating, are you applying ample lubrication to the shaft and head?

I am using lube when and if I do. it seems to get red when erect either way.

Since it seems to be confined to your glans and foreskin, I'd suspect it is balanitis. Try applying an antifungal for a few weeks and see if any improvement is seen.

this seems too odd to be happening on its own. try changing your soap or lotion, you might be allergic to it and well our privates are especially sensitive to these affects.

I have even gone with only using water for a long time. No change. It is so frustrating.
