Describe or list EVERYTHING that is in contact with the skin on your penis:-

Do you use 1 particular soap or different ones? Shower gel, different body cleansers?

Do you shower everyday? Do you apply the soaps and shower gels directly to your penis?

Do you wash your hair in the shower and if so would the shampoo drain down your body to you groin and genital region?

Do you apply any skin creams or moisturisers to your penis?

Any lubes for masturbation of any kind? How frequently do you masturbate?

Do you have skin issues anywhere else on your body?

I use a dial shower gel. that's pretty much all I use

its possible. head and shoulders since I do have a dandruff issue. as of late no I have not been taken daily showers. at times i will use the shower loofah to squeeze out soap on top of my penis and rinse.

Do you wash your hair in the shower and if so would the shampoo drain down your body to you groin and genital region? answered above.

      • no no creams normally directly applied. since the rash popped up i have been using a antifungal cream a couple times a day.

Any lubes for masturbation of any kind? How frequently do you masturbate?

-i don't use lubes to masterbate. I go through cycles where I masterbate once to twice a day and the days leading up to the rash I had been doing it daily sometimes twice. I had been trying to be gentle while masterbaiting and not tugging as vigorously but rather mostly massaging my head for the same reason. I also had been having sex few times a week. we use a silicone lubricant during sex most of the time.

Do you have skin issues anywhere else on your body?

-no nothing really signicant. I'll get small little bumps from time to time on my arm that I pick but otherwise nothing else.

-thank you so much for your reply. I feel like the antifungal has helped some. the skin is taking a shiny appearance now and almost looks like it wants to start peeling. I have gone to the doctor in the past for similar issue and at the time they thought it was a fungal infection and prescribed antifungal.

The photos you have posted would suggest quite a high level of irritation has existed for quite some time.

I wanted an outline of what your penile skin is often in contact with and the demands made of it, such as frequency of masturbation and sexual intercourse.

I suggest the best course of action would be for you to see a Dermatologist as soon as possible who can check whether there is a skin condition present.

In terms of what else you do you must try to make water the one and only thing that the damaged skin of your penis is in contact with. That is, wash it with water only, be careful not to allow hot shower water to contact your penis. After a shower be very careful to ensure you fully dry your damaged penile skin to ensure ALL moisture is removed.

Until you have treatment in place that is showing considerable beneficial effect I would suggest you abstain from masturbation and sex.

Was there any further significant information that got deleted from your last reply to me ...... ?

thank you for your reply. yes perhaps I need to go see a dermatologist to get to the root of this. any chance it looks like a sti in your opinion? it never has developed any sores or anything. I don't have any pain when I urinate. only time i have discomfort is when I get the tiny cuts. its been a week and it has gone down some, but the skin still has a shiny appearance and there is still a little bit of redness. I've been trying to avoid retracting foreskin which I feel sometimes stretches the skin and flares it up.

Of note, I do recall when I was younger I did have trouble with foreskin tightness. even now at times especially when erect, I will have trouble bringing the foreskin back to its original position. Or at times it will fold over inward and feel uncomfortable. I'm not sure if my history with my foreskin has anything to do with this.

      thanks

I would generally say your penile skin is in very poor condition - you need to ensure that the only thing that contact the skin on the upper part of your penis is WATER and be careful to fully dry it after washing or taking a shower.

You would need to see a Dermatologist anyway, but from what you describe you may have always had a tight foreskin - once all your penile skin returns to a healthy normal you can begin to do exercises for this.

Have very little knowledge of STI's but I would not think this is the root of the problem

Do an update once you have see a Derm
