Foreskin Issues

Posted , 4 users are following.

I've noticed over the past year that my foreskin has tightened slightly. There are a few small red raised bumps. Also, I can feel fibrous bumps/lumps/adhesions inside/under the foreskin. During sex/masturbation the skin sometimes develops small tears. Skin is not itchy but feels a bit fragile. It's not an STD as I have been checked. Just wondering if anyone might know what this is?

Hi Don, you should have it checked with your doctor or dermatologist. it could be a skin condition infection. have you had balanitis in the past? You have some discoloration especially around the frenulum it looks a little tight. it could be early signs of lichen sclerosus. So I'd have it checked out.

You have to check with your doctor, looking at it, it could be looks normal, but your symptoms are not related to a healthy penis. If you develop tears and scar during sex or masturbation, then you have to check istantly to a dermatologist or to an urologist. As someone else said it could be an early phase of a severe skin condition called lichen sclerosus. This condition is quiet difficult to recognize and get a REAL diagnosis. Cause the diagnosis is made on two things, the clinical examination and the biopsy in some cases.

    Here few questions for you:

    • Have you notice a change in skin colour?
    • Is your skin, expecially of the penis head (glans) or foreskin, dry?
    • Do you have other symptoms like burning, itching or similar?
    • Do you have problems during urination or ejaculation?

In any case, the solution, if your glans, the penis head, is totally ok, could be a circumcision, that will prevent your from any other skin problems of the penis and improvement of other symptoms always related to inflammation or skin condition, even with infection.
