Forgetfulness.

These past months, 4 maybe 5, I've realised how forgetful I'm becoming.

Conversations, names, numbers, looking up things on Google to do odd jobs and then having to return because I forgot. The list go's on. Trouble making decisions to. Very hard. On top of this, l seem to wet myself and not knowing. It's quite frustrating.

My mum had similar then later was diagnosed with dementia. Not saying it is, but it kinda gets you thinking. I want to phone my doc, but then I wonder is it just me getting on. I'm 55. Anyone else had this experience? What was your outcome?

David, as you are aware that you are experiencing memory problems and bladder problems it would be a good idea to have a chat with your doctor. When was the last time you had a thorough check up? If you are in UK there are Memory clinics available to help you, and it doesnt necessarily mean you will have dementia. You are still a mere lad at 55.Do you get any exercise?A brisk walk several times a week can help. Try to do a few deep breathing exercises as well. Make sure you are sitting down if you do these as you can get dizzy if not used to it. We can get very sedentary if not pushed and getting oxygen into your lungs can help tremendously.
