Forgive me for asking

Please forgive me for asking on this group, I havnt been diagnosed with any IBD. I've had a lot of stomach issues for two years now and have been diagnosed with GERD last year. But I've had bowel issues for two years and havnt had a regular bowel since then. I have sever tummy cramps and Just passing gas hurts like crazy. I wake up nauseous a lot and sometimes mid day, I'm up half the night some days bc I think I have to use the bathroom and really sharp stabbing pains that happen right above my belly button. I'm bloated every other day even if I'm not on my cycle. I just recently got a colonoscopy last month and got the results today. I had proctitis with no explanation and was told they found nothing. I don't have candida and just st to be safe already did the candida diet. I don't have IBS as I told the doctor that diagnosis doesn't fool me, I know it's just a cluster of symptoms and I WANT TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF IT. I want to find out what is causing my symptoms. He said there is nothing else he can do for me and said I just need to start exercising. I'm so sad bc I don't want to be in this much agony any more 😭 I don't believe one colonoscopy can just come back normal and that's it, nothing else to try. 😪 Or am I wrong? Colonoscopy came back fine so that's it and I'm done for? I can't even eat some times bc I'm over bloated, and my left side gets sharp pains as well. And to top it off I get bad joint pain mornings and night, I know that unrelavent but what if it's all combined as well as bladder pain?
Sorry so long

Hi Lea1788
I feel your pain I also had proctiis to begin with which lead to Ibd if the colonoscopy has Diagnosed that for you have they not put you on any anti inflammatory medication ? Also if you aren't happy it's best to always get a second opinion but I doubt they will put you in for another colonoscopy so soon after your first one.
Good luck and any questions let me know

Noi got no medication even for the stomach tumor and antral gastritis they found last year on my endoscopy. I live in a small town of 5,000people so my options are limited here. The surgernt didn't seem to worry about the results on the endoscopy but when I went back he looked concerned about it but forgot all about it after the colonoscopy. I'm getting a second opinion in a town about an hour from where I live. I don't expect another colonoscopy but at least a pill cam or a stool sample or anything to further investigate would be nice.
