    Hi Browniee,

Hope you've got your tablets now. I've missed on some days but I've been ok. I think in our condition we are likely to worry more about missing a dose, hence the increased level of anxiety. If I miss a dose, I normally take a double dose to catch up but this is a totally personal decision I've taken upon myself without consulting my doctor.

Hi Browniee, how long have you been on sertraline and why did you have to up the dose, didn't 50 mg helped you at all? I think you have right to argue if you don't feel right or worse than before taking the med. You are the only one who knows the difference before taking them and now. Also, why your gp think you won't be free of it, where is the point then to up the dose? If you are taking med, you should be positive about it and believe that you will be better, probably it will take a bit longer, all depends how serious is your problem. smile

Hi K, thanks for replying im at my wits end at the moment, I just seem to be being pushed from one doctor to another i went seein my 6th pyschologist the other day and i asked would i ever be free of this and he simply said if this level of cognitive behavioural therapy doesnt work then im simply goin to have to get on with it and try not let it ruin my life, I start my 3rd year in April I just cant believe im being told ill never be free of this, the pysciatrist has upped my dose to 100mg but im still taking 50mg i dont even wanna be on them stupid tablets, my mum has been looking at neuro linguistic programming, its like hypnotism and if they dont give it me on NHS then shes prepared to pay, have you ever heard of this, ive done lots of research and ive finally got a glimmer of hope, how are you doin? x

Hi Browniee, I feel really sorry for you, but I still believe you can get free of this feeling, but support needed, also you have to change your thoughts to positive, even if its hard. No I haven't heard about neuro linguistic programming, I hope that will help you! smile

I am ok, still on 50 mg now 19 weeks, though get down days sometimes, mood swings and nervous. Can't wait to start reducing the dose and see what happens.

    Take care x
