Did you use protection during sex? Depends whether you did or not as to what it could be.
If you did not use protection you may have something like a slight infection, for example .....

it was unprotected, I'm uncircumcised and the woman I'm with has a bit of an issue with getting the correct amount of moisture down there due to the birth control shes on. I've been keeping it clean and dry (washing with only water no soap). checked it this morning seems to have gone down a bit. I'm kinda a hypochondriac when it comes to this kind of stuff but aren't we all lol I've included another photo for comparison.

I would suggest if this is a regular partner do a search on vaginal dryness and the kinds of things that can help deal with it. Mention it to your partner, show that you spent sometime caring about her side of things, simply state some of the things you read can be helpful, but let her choose her own solutions. Or, pehaps give her the web site address if you found a really good source of information ....
So yes, you may have had irritation due to friction, perhaps even a slight bit of a yeast / fungal infection as these may go hand-in-hand with vaginal dryness.
You could also get yourself some liquid coconut oil and apply a light coat on your penis before having sex .....
