I have a mechanical heart fail recently on CT scan they found and anuisim on ascending aorta

      It's 4cm, had a CT done the end of April and it was not there.

      I have a congenital heart condition. Including my replacement of aortic heart valve, done in 2016, I've had 4 open heart surgeries.

      I'm experiencing chest pain, rapid heartbeat, dizziness and high blood pressure.

      I am seeing my cardiologist tomorrow.

    By the way, how were the recovery's on the open surgery's?

      I've had some complications, 4 infections that required surgery and antibiotics for for 8 weeks each time. Honestly I have not felt good since the valve replacement.

    Laura, I hope they can help you soon. I was told that they don't do surgery until aneurysm is at least 5.2 cm - but that also depends on overall health.

    I hope you will begin feeling better soon.
