By accident I found my 100% cure.

The rls was horrendous, could not sleep felt ill, then it started on the rest of my body,I would cause pain to me legs😓. Any way I fell and broke my back so the doctor prescribed morphine, and even on the lowest dose 5mg twice a day my tls has gone, well it's not gone cos if I stop the tablets it comes back , it's quiet safe my doctors say to take the morphine it's changed my life I hope this helps someone

So glad you've found something that helps. I'm on clonazepam and codeine. Some people will say that we shouldn't be taking such addictive drugs but I say anything that helps this horrid condition is good. Hope you continue to get relief.

I also take clonazepam. I had to come off it for a sleep study but as soon as it was over I was back on it. I am also on Tramulief but as they work the addiction possibilities don't worry me

Good for you! I found the same relief with pramipexole . The difference when I take them is remarkable and I can lead a normal life again.

Hi what dosage of pramiiexoke do you take.

Hi. I started on 1 tablet which is 0.088mg but after many years I'm now taking 3 tablets of 0.088mg. It works for me if I have one at 7pm and the other two at 9 pm. This gives me a whole evening free of RLS!!

This is the latest scientific info.  I think methadone is good, too.

After hip operations I found that when I stopped taking pain medication my RLS returned. I do think that pain medication can definitely help.  Watched recent TV programme on RLS. While it showed how desperate people are with RLS, unfortunately it didn't offer any answers to help nor whether the sufferers were on any medication.

I watched that programme too and agree it didn't offer much help other than to give a phone number if you've been affected. It did say that the sufferers weren't helped by the usual meds for rls but didn't say what they had tried. I felt so sorry for the elderly man self harming to get relief but I'm sure there must be a sedative or relaxant that could help him. Anything must be better than being up all night bashing your feet under the door to take your mind off restless legs.
