    Hi Weesue

I think by the 4 week mark you do feel fed up and the slow heal really plays on your patience and you just want to get bad to normal. It’s tough!

I didn’t have bowel issues after I went home Day 5. But I was thinking about all the things that get you going naturally.

Walking 3 x 5 minutes, eating whole fruits and other high fibre foods and also coffee is a good stimulant.  Moving more around the house. Drinking lots of water. Gently massaging abdomen by going across from right to left then down.

Some people only go every second day.  It really does make you feel very miserable and uncomfortable when things are not moving regularly. Tomorrow’s another day though, it will happen!

    Best wishes Weesue

My "new normal" is finally settling in at 8+ weeks. Green tea has helped greatly in making BMs naturally tolerable. At 4 weeks you can give a proper push without any damage.
