hi fractured patella in two pieces dr decided not to do surgery as i waited a month now on week 8 walking with a brace and will begin physio this week

    I feel for you . I did same thing few years back. Was a straight fracture so did not need surgery but did have to wear full leg brace for 6 weeks. Yikes ! that is something to not be able to move/straighten your leg.

    Just take it easy. I really listened to the doc and didn't do much of anything for a month so it didn't get worse.

    Ouch! I have a friend who did the same thing before Christmas, may have been November time. She's out walking without any aids now. I hope you have a smooth and speedy recovery.
