Fractured Pelvic

I fell 3 months ago & I was doing well about a month ago.  Now, I'm hurting almost as bad as I did when I fell.  Can someone tell me why I've had this relapse?

I would suggest that you go back to your orthopedist for his diagnosis. There are many possible reasons that you are hurting so badly again, but you can't be sure exactly what it is until you are examined, and possibly have imaging done - x-ray or mri or ultrasound.

Hope you get some answers soon!

I was sent for a repeat CT Scan & go back to my Ortho Dr. on Mon.  No surgery was done.  Just bad fractures of my pelvic & buttocks bones. I've been thru PT and have done everything I was told to do.  I'm using my walker again.  Just ready to feel better.  Thanks for your input.

I'm happy to hear you had a CT and are going to see the orthopedist about this. I read up on pelvic fractures, and I assume, since you didn't have surgery, that yours was a stable fracture, right? They are expected to heal on their own, and you use walking aids and may have some weight bearing restrictions for awhile. I hope this is a minor setback for you and that further rest and healing will fix it. All the best to you at your doctor's visit, Nancy!

Hi sorry you are struggling after getting so far down the road, after falling did you get checked out with xray or even a visit to your surgeon, I'm presuming you had surgery for pelvis? I didn't so no guarantee you did, can you walk with 100% weight bearing, whenever we hurt we are scared its something bad but it could just be the internal bruising coming out, have you iced it and rested
