Frazzled and Frustrated!

I'm gonna keep this short and (not so) sweet.

I've HAD IT!!!

I'm sooooo completely frustrated right now, I can hardly see straight.

just received a call from my Rheumy's office re: results from blood work after seeing her.

she says all numbers are fine and there's no sign of any active PMR, so continue Quick Taper! this, after telling her my shoulder and knee's are worse than ever!!

"What the What??"

I'm Really beginning to wonder which end is up, and if maybe all my medical problems aren't just rolled into ONE BIG BALL of......

Of what??

I don't know anything anymore, except that I'm in pain and extremely frustrated.

I'd really like to hear your folks thoughts.

Thanks, Lynda

Other than getting a 2nd opinion I don't know what to tell you.

Have you had your effected areas x-rayed?

Are you practicing an noninflammatory diet?

Hi Lynda. I go through this every time I am off of prednisone. Takes 2-3 mths. for my blood levels to prove it. Last time I spent $$$$$ on PT, chiropractor, massage, xray, CAT scan until my crp and sed rate went way up. It is like a repeat nightmare because I suffer for so many mths and you feel like no one believes you. I am seeing a new Dr in Boston on 11/6. I feel great now because on on pred. I have been on it for 4 yrs and now have osteoporosis. I know how you feel. Maybe a new Dr who will listen?? Good luck.
