Hello
I have just discovered two small brown freckle like marks on the skin of my inner labia. I have LS and I am trying various approaches to control this condition. Has anyone else noticed freckle marks? I am worried about these marks!

I also have a small freckle like. Spot on right inner labia (well what is left of the labia). I noticed it about seven or eight months ago and showed it to my vulvar specialist. She said it was a mole and showed no signs that it needed to be biopsied. I have appointment with her on Monday for my check up and am going to tell her I want her to biopsy it. It hasn't changed but I have been worrying about it for the last seven months and want a definite answer. I know the chances that it is cancer is small but I still worry as I never noticed it until about 7 or 8 months ago when it just seemed to appear! Plus it is on the area that seems to be the most effected by the LS. The LS seems to be under control thank God but this area does worry me. I do not know how the doc will take to me telling her I want it biopsied but this is my body and feel this is what I need to do. She is very knowledgeable about L s but not a lot of bedside manner so not sure how me telling her I want a biopsy will go. I think she will do it. If you are worried I would suggest you make appointment to see your doc. They may be able to put your fears at ease. But if you are not comfortable with what they say you do have a right to ask for whatever you need to allay your fears. This is your body and you do have a say in having done whatever it takes to make you not worry. Good luck and let me know what happens. I will try to post on Monday if she did the biopsy and if she does I will post the results when I get them.

Thanks for your reply its appreciated. I will see my GP and hopefully she refer me to a gynae. I hope your specialist agrees with you having a biopsy. I know worrying about a health matter is just so tiring and affects our whole lives. I understand you wanting to find out what is happening with your body.

Hi Aileen, its likely nothing to worry about but if your worrying then you will need to see your doc to allay your fears. When you think of the long list of symptoms from LS then I think we all have marks/bruises/scar tissues down there..sadly my undercarriage ain't what it used to be lol!
