Free vitamin D tablets

I have just received an email from Martin Lewis the money saving expert and it says if you live in the UK Asda supermarkets are giving vitamin D tablets out free to customers you just have to ask for them at the pharmacy counter 😀

    I blame our awful weather, none of us gets enough sunshine smile  Make sure that if taking Vit D supplements, you take the correct one.  The one to take is D3 Cholecalciferol , do not take D2 Ergocalciferol which is a synthetic form made by irradiating fungus and plant matter.  I have been taking D3 and mentioned it to my doctor who told me to get out in the sun more instead.....cant win can we.

    Thanks for sharing Shirl.  It's good to know when you can get things for free once in a while. Will go and check in my Asda. After all we are not getting enough sun so could do with them. wink xx
