Freibergs disease

I was diagnosed with this in the third metatarsal head when I was 13 (almost 30 years ago😬😬wink I had 2 surgeries aged 15 and 21 and it then did not cause me any more trouble or pain. In April I had surgery to remove a bunion and since then the Freibergs has flared up - I  am in so much pain - every step is a struggle - I am now so inactive, putting on weight and getting very down about it as a result. Am also in constant pain. I’ve just been told by the surgeon that I have to wait and see if it will settle. Has anyone else had similar experiences with freibergs flaring up again?
