Frequent (extreme) fatigue that last 2-4 days and occurs once a month or less.

Hello People

I was just wondering if anybody knows what this could be?

It doesn' t have a huge impact on my life, but I am really curious what it could be, because I cannot find anybody with the same symptoms.

About 1 to 2 times every two months i feel really fatigued for a couple of days. The fatigue comes on slowly, and after 1 or 2 days all I can do is lay down and rest for two days. Every time I get up I feel like I need to lay down again. I feel fatigued over my whole body, and sleepy (but no sleepy enough to sleep the whole day). Then after two days the fatigue slowly starts to lessen, and after two more days it' s gone.

I am otherwise healthy, take no meds and I sleep fine. I exercise eat well and have a active, but not exhausting job.

The fatigue just seems to come and go without any special reason.

Does anybody know what it could be?

I would really appreciate if anybody could point me in the right direction.

It' s not a terrible thing to have, but I am a young man, and it just seems a strange thing to have, and it' s giving my problems because I am unable to do any work while I have this.

Best regards,

Jim.

Probably a lack of iron in your system. A blood

test will give you the answer.

But shouldn' t I be tired all the time then? It' s episodic

And besides that, the doctor did a couple of blood test, never found low iron.
