Hello. i'm 26 yo guy , i believe i have prostatitis for more than 8 years now, i don't remember exactly when this started , i have had urinary issues since i was like 16 yo , but it has gone worse i developed more symptoms in the last 4 years.

Regarding my symptoms, my biggest problem is urinary frequency and urgency. Other symptoms ; Discomfort, pain and bottom itching when sitting down or laying down for a long time... weak ejaculation, i feel like the semen is still "stuck" inside my penis after I ejaculate , difficulty to start peeing , not able to empty my bladder..

i have tried a lot of things and nothing seems to work , when i take supplements like ( pumpking seed oil , saw palmetto..) it makes me want to pee even more frequently , i hear that stretching helps ,i have never tried it but i'm willing to

any advices ?

Urinary symptoms like you have described should be taken seriously. If you haven't already done so, I would strongly suggest visiting a competent urologist in your area. Self medicating or trying other supplements are probably not good options for you at this point.

A long time ago, I had issues with gross bleeding, so I have been generally under a urologist's care since even after that bleeding stopped, there was still blood in the urine for quite awhile. Anyway, I was having my PSA numbers monitored and, after a slow rise to 4.8, had a biopsy (negative). Then a jump to 9.5 around the time that I passed a kidney stone and had constipation, only to find I also had a UTI!I've always had frequency and urgency issues. Get off the couch? MUST go pee. Fast. Pull into driveway with car, get out fast with house keys in hand; dive into powder room just inside house door. My urologist said that there may have been a psychological component. Had prostate issues and wound up with Foley catheters for three month's. Here's the thing. I though that I wouldn't have the urgency issues after the Foley's were in. Wrong. The difference now was that if the bladder was empty, I was in agony as my bladder still wanted to pee so bad. If there was urine in the bladder, it came spraying out from the outside of the catheter. So, now, I realized that the prostate was out-of-the-picture with a catheter in place, so I must have been having "bladder spasms" all along. So, now, I'm post-TURP but still have urgency issues. TURP affects the prostate but not the bladder (I think). Bottom line, is that you can't just assume this is a prostate issue. Could be bladder. But, best bet is to talk with a urologist and get a cystoscopy done and anything else he recoommends. There are drugs to ease a spastic bladder, but they didn't want to give me those because they could cause constipation. Something I already had just before I got the urine retention issue. Hope this helps.

You need to see a urolgist to determine exactly what you have.

Take the bloodwork results with you.

As these specialists have seen a lot, he may be able to diagnose you relatively

quickly and prescribe what is needed.

    Good luck.
