Frequent urination and mild penile pain

I am 27 yrs old with frequent urination issue from the last 3 months..now from the last few days, i'm having mild pain or sometime itching on penis... i'm not married, so no sexual history and STD issue.. sometime i also notice that there is fecal incontinence specially when i travel...are these issues interconnected??? Please guide me what to do....a friend of mine who is a doctor told me to use Cranmax & Ciprofloxacin for 5 days...i just used it for 2 days and stopped cz side effects of cipro started showing up so i couldn't continue... Now please advise me what procedure i should follow..??? Thanks in advance
