Frequent Urination at night

I pasted a similar problem on patient Forum but received no replies about it. Hence again being written.

I am a male of advanced age. I have this problem though I control water intake drastically in the afternoons yet problem remains uncomfortable. Urologist advised Solifen 5 mg (Solifenacin Succinate) which greatly reduced my urine flow/ quantity, hence stopped.

Any views if this problem can be rectified at least to some extent?
