Frequent urination/Cystoscopy/dilation of urethra

Hey guys,

I’ve been suffering from frequent urination for the past 9 months. I will have to go to the toilet every 5 minutes or sometimes it could be every 20 minutes or 30 minutes. If I drink even a small bottle of water I will have to urinate straight away, and even after urinating I will have to wee again straight away. My bladder feels like it’s constantly full. I was told that my bladder wasn’t emptying properly so I had two procedures done, a Cystoscopy and Dilation of Arethra last week. Since getting these procedures done my bladder problems still haven’t improved, I still need to wee every 5 minutes. I’m now feeling a constant pressure on my bladder which I wasn’t feeling before. Has anyone had these procedures done before and felt a constant pressure which feels like a spasm! If so, how long did it last for?

    Urethra* just to clarify I haven’t got any infections from the procedures, I’ve been checked twice.

    Sounds like you may have an over active bladder. An easy fix with medication. I had your exact symptoms. Doctor prescribed Myrbetriq and all symptoms went away.
