frequent urination with no pain, no burning, no discharge

Back in december 2014, i started feeling the urge to urinate more than normal. I am only 31 years of age with 1 daughter. Right about december thru till february the frequency was off and on. I bceame pregnant in february and immediately it became bsd that every 5-15mins i needed to wee. As at 9 weeks of the pregnqncy i had a miscarriage.

Now i still have the frequency but its like every 3hours. I visited my gp back in december and they checked my urine and said it was ckear. Again i visited the gp they did an urine culture and it came out normsl and no growth. I also did an ultrasound and checked my kidneys and bladder and it was all normal.

I am a bit concerned bcos frequency is there and i still have no results. Any1 knows what next step i could take? Is seeing a urologist the best step?

Yes that's the best bet. I'm seeing one now for mine. Don't give up, keep on at the doctors. Good luck xx

Thank you, do you have the same symptoms as well? I was beginning to wonder if it was just me

To be honest I've had the same symptoms since my second child was born and been backwards and forwards to doctors for years, they found a fibroid in my womb this year so I had a hysterectomy as they said it could be pressure on the bladder, but symptoms worse now and most urine samples all clear, so am getting a cystscopy done this month to see what's going on. Please don't give up at the doctors and hopefully you will be seen soon and helped xx

Hi, l had frequency with pain for a lot of years, also following the birth of my 2nd son by csection, left with catheter and bacterial infection, but thereafter clear sample results, as with blood tests, xray, scans, finally got a cystascope done which showed intersticial cystitus, inflammation of bladder wall causing pain frequency, no bacteria shown. ld also had hysterectomy but symptoms remained till having scope diagnosis and treatment.  There could be different reasons for simular symptoms, but seems best way to find out is with cystascope. Good luck

Sounds a bit like, and lve also a cystascope coming up next week, to see if there,s been any change since last one l0yr ago, as meds did settle 90percent of symptoms, but recently been aggrevated, so will have to go for scope again, needs be.  l always thought l,d good child bearing hips, seems not, some women, a few l guess, start with probs from giving birth, or maybe if csection, l did. Good your getting scope to diagnose, many women have to wait far too long, years. Good luck to all.

i dont have pains ast all but it could get as bad as going to wee every 5-15 mins after just using the loo. I guess the urologist is the next step, though you mention cystascope, is this done by the urologist? You mentioned you had pains.

Has it all cleared or are you still facing the symptoms?
