i have had 30 years of ibs-d.A week ago i had 8 times diahorriea. on my 8th time fresh blood comes out like vermilion colour from anus. is it anal fissure? or something else. Thanks.

hi akn, what a shock! has this now stopped? did you feel bunged up before this? if this has not stopped ring and asked for help off 111 if you're in England, ask for some help, in that time you could have lost vital salts. good luck, this sounds wrong to me!

Hi, you must be anxious and you should check it out with your doctor. It could be a large haemarroid (pile) in the rectum which could be causing the bleeding. They will probably need to check it out to see what is causing the problem as bleeding from back passage needs to be investigated. Mum mum had similar last year and it was a huge haemorrhoid causing the problem, and she had a minor op to remove it and she is well now. She suffers from IBS, and needs to monitor what she eats otherwise she can get occasions of diarrhoea. Take care.

it stopped after that.it was my 8 th go to bathroom of that day it was not occurred before up to seven times. only that time blood came out.At next bowlmovoment it was ok.

i have done colonoscopy and there is no piles.(before) no icting slite burning for half an hour after evacuation.my local doctor said it is fissure due to go to latrine frequently.
