Friction blister after sex

Hi all,

So I recently had sex with my partner and it got rough (fully consentual!!) and we had sex quite a bit.

As I am on antidepressants I struggle to get wet sometimes (low libido) which is a very common side effect. During sex i could just feel myself getting dry even though i was horny and oral sex can only do so much.

Now of course I have a blister by the entrance of my vagina. Before anyone says something about herpes I have had herpes before down there due to a previous time my partner went down on me with a healed but still infectious cold sore (yes very big ouch please please please be aware of this as I was in so much pain). But because I've already experienced this I know its not Herpes (and i have type 1 which is mouth herpes anyways as the sex clinic confirmed it) so I'm not prone to outbreaks down there. ALSO the blister i have in my vagina is practically identical to blisters you can get on your feet due to shoes rubbing against your foot

But anyways i was just wondering if there is something i can do with friction blisters. Google has been no help as it just wants to tell me about herpes which is very annoying.

Thank you!

without seeing this, friction papules or blisters can form and are a thing. im dealing with a similar issue right now and the Dr. told me he assumed it was from friction or contact allergy of some sort. maybe from a lotion, soap or other irritant.

Hi, I'm 99% certain that it was due to sex as I dried up during sex and could already feel the pain.

I do understand what you mean though! I do have a sensitive vag and little bumps did come up when i wore scented pads. But right now the blister that i have looks completely different. It really is like the blisters you get on your feet
