Friction burn on underside of penis that wont go away
Posted , 10 users are following.
Ive had what I think is a friction burn from sex/masturbation for 5 or 6 months now. I don't masturbate anymore because of this, and rarely have sex. I did not have sex for almost 3 months at one point but it still did not fully heal. Is it not a friction burn or is there an underlying reason its not healing quicker? Or is it just a difficult area to heal due to the lack of air down there and resting on the scrotum all day? I don't have much time during to get to the doctor so I figured I would check here before I did try. Any help would be appreciated

Hi joe, here are some previous tips I have posted - you may gain great benefit from putting these into practice: -
* What I do know is the when you have ANY condition affecting the penis you need to implement squeaky clean hygiene practices to rule out the real possibility that it is simply an irritant creating the condition you have! Here is some of the stuff I previously posted on penile hygiene:
>>>>>> The skin on the penis is more sensitive than any other part of the body, particularly the head of the penis. During sex or self-pleasuring there is a whole lot of friction going on for this area of skin - in YOUR CASE if you have used condoms, there is often a whole load of chemicals on the inside that certainly don't help if your skin is reacting to irritation!
Try this for a while (2 / 3 months) - prevent as far as possible, soap, or shower gel, hair shampoo etc., or skin cream / lotion or any form of lube (oil based particularly) from getting on your penis. Always wash with water ONLY (never hot water) after urinating (in public toilets go in a cubicle and use toilet paper to ensure the head and surrounding area is 100% dry) when showering – if possible, make sure the skin of the penis is drawn forward to cover the head to protect the area from soap / shower gel, etc. getting on it. At the end of the shower - make sure the entire penis is 100% dry afterwards. You can also combine this with giving your penis an 'exercise holiday' - no masturbation or sexual activity, you may need to do this for as long as 5 or 6 weeks.>>>>> {Your penis could simply) be reacting to an irritant, usually some form of chemical - from anything from a specific soap, washing powder you use on your clothes, (and so on) or something related to your sexual practices: lube, lotions, gels, condoms etc. - or if you have a sexual partner, it could be a chemical substance they are using regularly, quite innocently, I must add!
NOT ALL THE ABOVE WILL APPLY TO YOU BUT SOME MAY BE INVALUABLE ... if all else fails you must get to a doctor, or perhaps even a sexual health clinic ......

Hey Joe,
I am communicating as I am wanting to assist my significant other out... He is an athlete and experiencing the exact same thing.
I can state from experience that this man enjoys going pedal to the medal when showing affection!
WHAT HAS WORKED FOR YOU? I want to go out of my way to help heal my man!
THANKS!

Are the symptoms he is experiencing as bad as in the photo at the beginning of this forum thread? Exactly where does the problem show itself? And to what extent?
Does he have any other skin conditions elsewhere on his body such as psoriasis or eczema, or ever suffered from them? .....
If there has been previous outbreaks anywhere on his body has he ever seen a Dermatologist?

What happened to your case? Did it eventually heal?

My man finally went to the doc and got a steroid cream and it healed the issue quickly. I am so mad that he refused to goto the doctor for 4 months. It honestly affected me in my life and led me into sad situations which may have not happened had I'd been getting the attention I need at home...
The steroid creme fixed this person but he is an athlete and active in cold environments all day. He gets a cold sore on his lip every 6 months or so and is prone to some sort of Angular Cheilitis continuously... I don't get it and I swear the Angular Cheilitis or cold sore issue in the corner of his mouth has something to do with his lifestyle, perhaps germs in what appears to be his clean mouth, or from continuous water bottle use... He is off to the doc next week for a solutions.
