From 4cm to 7cm in under 6 months hiatus hernia

I'm really not coping anymore,

I found out 2 years ago I had a 4cm hiatus hernia with oesophagitis, no medication worked so they did another endoscopy and found that my hiatus hernia was not 7cm, it had gone from 4cm to 7cm in under 6 months,

Because of all the pain I was having and no meds working it was agreed for surgery,

But then I had 6 months of arguing back n forth with my consultant and the surgeon because the surgeon wants a PH test done first,

So I did the ringing around and find out there was a 18 month waiting list, I sat and cried,

Little did I know what was coming cos next covid came and everything was pushed back,

And I was getting worse,

But it was agreed that the PH test could be left out and go straight to surgery,

Then a letter arrived to say the surgeon was going to ring me on the 2/7/2021 at 10am, this was the only thing that was keeping me sane, and he didn't bother ringing,

I ended up doing the ringing and to cut this short she told me a letter was on its way to me to tell me he wants the PH test done and now the waiting list was 24 months!!

I rang my consultant secretary and I cried and said I'm 44 years old and spend my days in bed, I can't bend down to put shoes on because acid will run down my oesophagus, I'm now having trouble breathing been to AnE a few times

My stomach is constantly swollen, even when I blend my food and drink just water I still suffer ( damage must have been done)

Tonight I drank liquid and felt it go down wrong (again) and this time the sore throat is so bad im too worried to sleep incase I choke,

I've been exsisting not living for the last 2 years and just when I think right surgery is right around the corner I get told that,

I don't know who to turn to or what to do

I'm so fed up of hacking up phlegm but it's not an infection its clear, and I normally get a really dry mouth before I sleep but now my throat is as worse as it gets

Anyone else suffering like this?
