hi

a month ago i was feeling uncomfortable on my vulva. i don't know something like burn, rash, itch.

i did not check my self down there to see what was happening instead i went to the pharmacy and gave me a cream for fungus

as soon as i started using it burned me quite a bit. i continued for about 4 days and then stopped.

after that i did a self examination and my vulva interior and exterior, and vagina opening was quite irritated, red, some areas were purple, sored and i had some pain which i could not locate from where.

after the 4 days i went to the GYN and told me i have nothing and gave me a soothing cream.(as they told me the use it for diaper rash)

i used that cream to calm me down but was not doing much , so i went to the pharmacy again and got another type of soothing cream.

for 3 weeks i was using different types if creams for the irritation to subside.

after the 3 weeks and when was about for my vulva colour to become normal i felt discomfort again, something like pain so i checked my self and saw that my vagina opening was becoming red and i had some small red areas in labia minora and some white discharge.

the 3rd day the discharge was like crumbs of white cheese, some white discharge white coating around my vulva, no bad smell, redness, soreness, irritation. all leading to a yeast infection.

so i am asking is it possible with all the different creams i used, if i had contact dermatitis to developed into a yeast infection.??

A white cheesy discharge is a sure sign of a yeast infection but you need more than a cream. You need a vaginal pessary which is inserted high in the vagina...where the infection has started. You should be able to buy Canesten cream and pessary combined in your pharmacy. Use as directed. You should feel much better after a few days. If it returns you may need the oral tablet for the infection. Ask your pharmacy or see your gyno.

No, I dont think you have had dermatitis turning to yeast infection...i think you have had a fungal infection all the time.
