From Indefinate DLA to PIP

Hi everyone my name is Yazmin I’m 30 years old and I have many chronic illnesses. 

I have Gitlemans Syndrome, diabetes, hypothyroidism, multiple level disc prolapse, radial and carpal syndrome, depression, asthma, severe Incontinence,chronic low back pain and Sinusitis. I have care given by my family and friends daily but feel so anxious and worried that I can’t fill in my pip form that I received today after being to to apply as the DLA has finished.

    Hi Yazmin. Try to not be anxious in your complex circumstances i am pretty certain CAB will help you with the form. I know the PIP form looks daunting but as it is worked through it you might see that there are some ? Or even whole sections that you dont need to answer. Adult social services might also be able to help. All the best with it.Terry

      Thank you Terry I have so many conditions and am literally housebound. I take over 80 tablets daily and feel too anxious to complete the form. I don’t know if what I have qualifies as the new pip seems so difficult to claim. I suffer with fall and anxiety and know what I am suffering with but can’t put it down in words 😢

    Again dont be anxious or even worried i have been on pip for 3 years and if you are housebound i am pretty certain you can get pip it is designed for people with complex physical needs and limitations. Good luck and ring them tell them you dufficulty filling the form in and ask for help
