Front neck pain on right side

For about a week now ive had pain in the front right side of my neck.

i first believed it was a muscle strain of some kind but now im unsure, the area on my neck is so tender i can barely put any pressure on it and moving my neck in certain ways sends a spike of pain through my neck.

the pain also radiates up my jaw and to my neck.

i cant get through a day without paracetemol and ibupurofen.

i have a doctors appointment tomorrow but does anyone know what it could be or any questions i should be asking my doctor ?

    i went to the doctor and he felt a lump there so im being sent for an ultrasound. im pretty freaked out

    Hi Marie,

    I hope you are better now. Please what was the outcome of your trip to the doctor and result of the scan? I have similar issues.
