    Hi

You need to ask for an ultra sound/scan which will look at the shoulder in depth not just the bones. Your GP should be able to do this. Keep strong, try to rest (I know!). Pester your GP to get scans and referrals to specialists. I was in so much pain I didn't think I would get through it, but post operation I'm fine now. Sending my best wishes to you.

    morning pearl,

I sympathize completey with your pain, im in exact same boat, only the first thing i had was a scan the calcification and spurs showed up straight away,, then see the consultant, then x ray,, then see the cosultant,, then physio,, now back on list to see a ortho consultant re: surgery this is 2 years on, my pain is no better, you could ask for a corstisone/pain relief injection workerd for me a treat, at least 4 weeks pain free, it was bliss, but you are only allowed 3 in a year, I am due to have another injection today as i literarly sobbed to my gp last wed,

I think trying tokeeo your arm as mobile as possible is a must, but also rest it too, i tried to make a sunday lunchyesterday and couldnt lift the trays from the oven or mash potatos etc, i phoned my daughter to come and help,, it is good to talk and we know what your going through, xx
