Same with me. It will be 24 months in a few weeks. Was in pretty good shape always...although I am getting old! But the pain/achiness...always..in my biceps is equally painful to my shoulder. Have it in both shoulders. Issues with my neck scapula and forearm too.Try and do self PT frequently but cant seem to turn the corner. ROM seems to be SLOWLY getting better. Direct heat and elbow wrap help a little but feel like I will never be able to shoot a hoop or throw a ball again. How about you?

Have you been to your GP to be referreed to hospital.  I was told 26 week wait but phoned my doctor and told him I could bare the pain anymore especially trying to type all day and I have just received an appointment for 24 February.  I had this before in my left shoulder and ended up having an operation to manipulate it and it was the only way I got my life back to normal.  Unfortunately because I have been having to use my left arm all the time because my right arm is so restricted I have started feeeling the pain you get when it first starts. I just wish they could come up with some kind of treatment that actually works apart from cortisone injection and physio which has done nothing for mine. This is the most painful thing I have had to deal with every day and not being able to sleep at night.  You should go and try and have operation it is well worth it and recovery doesnt take long as it is done by keyhole surgery.

Hi Tina, I am an older gent and have been suffering from what I thought was frozen shoulder. I have had the steroid injections without any joy.

My orthopedic doctor suggested that I have a hydro-dilation procedure, it too was of no real advantage.

Next, since I was experiencing pain n my arm, elbow, and down through my wrist to tingling thumb and first 2 fingers, he decided to do an MRI of my neck ans cervical spine. Results showed disc bulges at c4-5 & c5-6.

A steroid injection under CT guidance was performed (not a pleasant procedure by any means). A few days later my arm pain and tingling fingers was good, BUT I still have the shoulder pain which is driving me crazy.

The surgeon is now talking about arthroscopic examination and clean out.

During a normal day i find that I have trouble tucking my shirt into my pants, raising the hand above my head and lifting.

Night time is the worst time when I try to relax.

Tina, that's my story and where I'm at, I hope that you can get some comparison from it.

Nerve pain is terrible and I related it to a tooth ache which doesn't go away.

I wish you all the best with your endeavor to find a cure for your problem.

Tina I've the same issue. Dr do not treat me, they say I've to live like this. I've done all types of treatment but no relief. In fact my condition is deteriorating day by day. Please accept your situation and live at peace otherwise we are going to be bedridden.

I already can't sit, stand or lie down every 30 min change position. Thank you after reading your post I was relieved that I'm not the only one suffering. People can not understand us. Bye????

I have shoulder impingement syndrome on both shoulders. My left one is getting better and no longer hurts. Eating 5 ripe Kiwis a day for a week and getting tens at physiotherapy seemed to get rid of the pain permanently!

But now my right shoulder is at its worst, pain-wise.

I just heard that it is common for CFS sufferers to have shoulder impingement. My therapist has ordered a CFS workup so will see if I have CFS soon.

The pain and lack of sleep are awful. The Kiwis don't seem to be helping this time. Have increased my physiotherapy to weekly now so hoping the weekly tens will speed up the end of this painful phase!

I put ice packs on it to numb it enough to fall asleep. A hot shower helps temporarily in the morning when pain is worst. Once I get moving in the day the pain is more manageable.

Hi fellow sufferers...can anyone chime in and help a gal out?? About at my wits end with FS, radiating neck shoulder and arm pain, numbness tingling and no relief from PT. Had cortisone shot, total nightmare, 0 relief and had cortisone flare. Not doing it again, any recommendations? Am ready to find trial for rare cases ...thank you 🙏
