Frozen shoulder (s)

Hi, I've been reading through the forums on FS and the info has been very helpful.
I've got FS in my right side with pain and restricted movement. At first they thought it was bursitis but the symptoms are classic FS.
On the left I've got pain but still Rom. The worst part is that I get the pain going down my arms into my wrists.
I want to ask if any t1 diabetics have found this very hard to get through. I've had an initial cortisone injection which did nothing for fs but killed me with the side effects of the high blood sugars for a week. My sugars were mid 20's. I live in Australia so not sure if you read them a different way but this is ridiculously high and made me quite ill.
I'm looking at hydro dilation but as I've found out this has a cortisone aspect to it too. I don't want to go through that again. So is surgery a good option? I'd do the right side first then the left. Any t1 diabetics got any advice or anyone whose gone through this.
Thanks everyone.

So the pain in both shoulders is horrible, I get referred pain in the bicep and wrists. It's almost impossible to sleep and pain meds do nothing. 😞
Hydrodilation was supposed to happen but didn't because they didn't tell me I had to be off my blood thinners before I have it. My doctor is away and my gp doesn't feel comfortable giving me the ok to go off the medication to have the procedure.
I'm so not having any fun, think about what it's like for one shoulder and I have it in both.
