Frustrated

I've had anxiety for awhile. Yesterday I was having some trouble concentrating. I thought something was seriously wrong. Plus last night I was getting really vivid dreams. I tried getting help for this today and most places are booked for months. I just wish I could calm down and quit thinking.

anxiety can definitely cause the inability to concentrate. bringing down your stress and anxiety level will definitely take care of that. it can also cause all sorts of weird dreams. I know that melatonin can cause vivid dreams .

you are going to be just fine. when counseling is available you can go for some ways to manage this. I do virtual counseling and it works great.

overthinking is extremely stressful and exhausting! What happens is that we go round around in our head about things and try to figure it out but we never come up with the exact answer. So we go round and round again and try to solve things we’re getting answers to things. I know because I did that for so many years and it’s just not worth it. It’s like rocking in a rocking chair you’re always moving but you never get anywhere. it will also increase your anxiety as well as the inability to concentrate , etc

There are some great talks and meditations for over thinking, anxiety, etc. on YouTube. this would be great for you because what you need to do now is completely relax your mind and entire body. It’s a known fact that regular meditation actually changes brain chemistry in a positive direction. That’s awesome. There are also some great body scan meditation to relax the entire body. Check them out! I do this at least once a day and before long I noticed an improvement in my concentration.

counseling it’s great but we also have to do some work ourselves. The more you can relax your mind the better you will feel!
