That creepy crawly sensation you mention is like 'restless leg syndrome' - I have experienced that a lot more frequently since 4 months post-op TKR....especially at night, when I have disturbed sleep due to pain mostly - I have to get up and walk around the place - which also seems to get rid of the resless leg - for a short while....what an experience eh.....I did have that sensation periodically before so not sure it relates to the actual surgery rather than the knee problem! Currently I wished I'd never joined to TKR club but hopefully it is early days as most people tell me.....but you are a newer recruit - my surgey was 29th Nov 2017 - so I wish you luck with your recover and the creepy crawly leg sensation...it will pass.....x

Push the knee and it swells with pain and burning. I did that once at 5 weeks...put 8,200+ steps on my fit bit. Balloon knee for 3 days. Never again. ALWAYS checked my steps during the day and increased gradually. I'd suggest a pedometer of some kind and do your tracking to avoid the pain. The included software graphs your progress.
Try some Voltaren Gel (RX in the US)...a GREAT topical anti-inflammatory and pain reliever.
