Frustrated. Anyone?

I've just come off of two weeks of feeling amazing, and now, without warning, I've been thrust back into perimenopausal hell: numbness, tingling, jaw cracking, feelings of icy water running inside of me, intense anger, crying bouts. The list goes on. I am now 90 days without a period, and I am 53. I'm sooooo hoping that this is my final countdown, as I've been dealing with these symptoms at least half the time for well over four years now. Enough is enough!

Any thoughts, perimenopausal sisters?

Hi. Isn't it just awful!! I've had the worst 3 months of my life with these symptoms. Literally had so many tests done (they thought I had tumors on my adrenal glands at one point because of out of control anxiety (I don't thankfully)). I'm 46 and my periods are still regular so I think I'm in this for a few more years 😦

Sorry you are having a hard time again. I'm on the verge of trying HRT again. Tried once before but didn't have any massive improvements and I thought it made my anxiety worse (although my GP thinks not).

Have you tried anything? Vitamins? HRT? Hugs xxx

Yes, I've tried it all: herbal, prescription (including HRT); nothing has touched it. Honestly, my sense is that you just have to let it run its course, as hormones affect every body system.

    Hey Bev..

I, too, am FRUSTRATED, to say the least! This Sugar Honey Ice Tea is for the birds; I wish it would just FLY far, far, away! That being said, my heart goes out to you! You were well for two weeks, and then CRASH😂😂!! Like monopoly, you go back to perimenopausal JAIL, do NOT pass GO, do NOT collect your happiness!! Menopause is like a rollercoaster you can't get off, and never look back! Thank you, for being soooo.... BRUTALLY HONEST about how you feel. Women need to hear and see that. Do the things that make you happy, below are my suggestions: (I've done them too).

    1. Soak your feet in a GREAT smelling bath salt while watching your FAVE show on tv.
    2. Sip on a cup of hot tea and look out the window.
    3. Treat yourself to lunch/dinner.
    4. Take a walk around your community.
    5. Watch some live comedy specials.
    6. Netflix & Chill.
    7. Take a LONG warm bath with a glass of bubbly.
    8. Plan your next vacation.
    9. Get in your car, drive for FIVE minutes, turn the music up loud & SCREAM!!
    10. BREAK some old dishes you haven't used.
    11. Watch some funny videos on the net.
    12. Dance around your humble abode, regardless of who's looking. (They already think you're cray-cray anyway.
    13. Watch Bishop Bullwinkle on YouTube: Hell To Da Naw, Naw, Naw..

The bottom line is this: Do what you can to FEEL better, in the midst of this ongoing tsunami!
