Frustrated! Various symptons and red meatus

Hello guys,

I have searched the web for ages with my symptoms, no one provided me a useful answer.

I had unprotected sex now 1 year ago. A week or so after this, I started having red dots on my penis glands. It was irritated more after friction. I got some crème for fungal infection and some hormone stuff.

It did not help.

Then I started having burning tongue/mouth/throat symptoms. Very annoying, so I got some pills against yeast infection. I started getting blisters/ulcers for a couple of weeks, then they disappeared. I then started having more throat burn and also a burn in my rectum. Got some crème but that did not help.

I had a tube down my throat to check for anything, but it was all fine.

I also got some pills for genital herpes, but no change either.

Got tested for chlamydia, mycoplasma, gonorrhea, HIV, Syphilis. All negative.

After ejaculation, the skin gets red and irritated for an hour or so, then clears up. (It stayed irritated for days in the beginning).

My meatus is red all the time now around the urethra and most times it burns a bit when I urinate.

My throat and tongue burns occasionally and there is also a very little bump on my penis at the hole.

My testicles sometimes hurt as well for days, then clears.

I also started to have "burning eyes" and getting some body chills now and then, along with a swollen lymph node in the groin.

Sometimes I can have a week with very little , to no symptoms, besides red meatus and then they can come back out of nowhere. Usually the burning tongue/throat symptom.

I have had this for 12 months now, on and off.

I have tried all sorts of cremes, HSV pills, pills against stomach acid and mouth burn. Tried echinacea and other kinds of "wonder pills" without big effect. I am very anxietyprone and are very focused on symptoms so that does not help me at all either.

I wonder if it could be a type of HPV or so, as this virus is still rather complicated.

Does anyone have similar issues and maybe found a solution 😃 ?

    What you have described seems very close to what I have been dealing with, Minus the mouth soars and stuff. I have acid reflux and have been taking prilosec for 10+ years. I have stinging in the tip of my penis and a red meatus. I will also get red rashes down there, even when not masturbating for weeks. Only thing I know for sure that I have is HPV because I have warts. All my tests are also negative for everything else and have also tried several different treatments, from antibiotics like Doxycycline and Flagyl, to all sorts of Anti-fungal meds and creams. I am just as lost as you and have had these symptoms for years. I have been trying to find a solution for a long long time but have had no luck but have found so many other men on here with the same symptoms. Recently I have tried an Antihistamine for possible allergies. It did nothing. But maybe it could work for you. It's worth a try, but it sounds like we have very similar symptoms and could be the same thing.

      i am in the same boat a d desperatley searching for a cure. Have either of you been tested for herpes?

      I paid privatley to do so as the nhs declined my request. Apparently i have hsv1. I do not know where i have it or when i got it, so not conclusive.

      All i know is i had unprotected oral sex and everything changed.

      Would be good to get checked for herpes via blood in my opinion. Could be a common theme.

      Hello,

      Nearly all human beings have HSV1.

      When you get your first cold sore for example, it is this virus causing it.

      When your cold sore disappears, the virus is still in your body and will remain for life 😃

      HSV2 is the sexually transferred in most cases.

      It is so annoying.

      Do you also have a burn in your throat and rectum occasionally and sudden body chills now and then ?

      Yep understood the majority of the world have HSV but i have never had an coldsore or issue down there until this incident. I received unprotected oral so could be HSV1 genital? just saying worth exploring all avenues.

    Are you allergic to anything? Same style symptoms happened to a friend and was on meds with sulfates in them. Discovered he was allergic and cleared right up.

    i am going through the same thing but i am female, everything you are saying matches what i am going through... I am starting to keep track of what i am eating/drinking everyday i am trying to figure out if this is something in my foods i am eating.. Even though it seems impossible that it is the food because symptoms started as soon as i got new sexual partner.... At this point i will try ANYTHING Just to feel normal again...
