FT4 still rising after RAI?

Good day. I just had my RAI treatment last August 4, 2021 and I just had my checkup last Thursday, September 23, 2021. To my surprise, my FT4 is still not normal (It's high). My doctor told me that this is normal since my treatment is just almost 2 months and it still too early to tell if it is a recurrence.

I don't have anyone who are hyperthyroid and have taken RAI before. I just want to ask if this is really normal. From what I understand, I have taken RAI to have my thyroid gland shrink until it is completely gone.

Is it really possible for my FT4 not still in normal level after almost 2 months of RAI treatment?

I am really starting to feel nervous about this. I hope somebody can help me with their insights.
